RESIDENTIAL INTERNSHIPS
Three Springs Community Farm Foundation provides a training ground for aspiring Biodynamic farmers, homesteaders or gardeners by hosting season-long farm internships. Learn how to become the resource within your community and save the land and the food production of the future. Attendance in our Biodynamic Workshop Series is complemented by 24 hours per week of hands-on field experience.
The FARMERS
Lew & Willow Summer, the founding farmers, began development of the land in 2017, and began vegetable production and our Farm Membership Program in 2020. Willow’s experience as both an urban farmer and Waldorf teacher in Oakland inspired her to create an educational biodynamic farm.
The farm community is formed of many members, including active farmers — those working the land — and those who choose to support that work. The diversity of the farm requires partnership to manage vegetable fields, orchards, and animals.
